Formulating a Future Vision for Institutional Innovation Design in Organizations

Duration

2-4 Days

About the Activity

About

Formulating a future vision for embedding innovation within an organization embodies a holistic strategic picture with a long-term perspective. The motivation behind crafting such a vision is to assemble a rationale for a comprehensive and integrated array of activities, shaped as pathways and mechanisms.

The activity encompasses the following parts:

  • Designing framing and organizing experimentation mechanisms and ordering initiatives into tangible projects.

  • Leveraging the resources, infrastructures, and core capabilities of the organization to support intra-organizational initiatives and encourage applied innovation within the organization.

  • Boosting the motivation of the organization's individuals for entrepreneurial action.

  • Recognizing the process of innovation management and entrepreneurial action within the organization.

  • Enhancing the managerial readiness for innovation among the organization's executives and the entrepreneurial readiness among its individuals.

The correct embedding of this array of activities, progressively, will serve as the foundation for establishing innovation management systems within the organization, effectively translating into action. The work scope assessment ranges between two to four days, in accordance with the outputs of the 'Diagnosis and Design of Institutional Innovation' workshop.
